Job Projections for New Jersey
16/09/09
As of August 19 of this year the unemployment rate in New Jersey is about 9.6 percent. This is continuously rising, giving great concern to the residents of New Jersey as it is for other states as well.
New Jersey jobs which are picking up steam as opposed to losing it seem to be in the IT fields as well as financial fields. For all that banking has had its own share of losses, the financial consultant and advisory fields are offering new positions daily based on what we’re seeing in such online hiring sites as Monster.com and others.
Accounting and administrative jobs in the financial field are plentiful, with companies and even schools hiring or these positions regularly.
Additional fields that you might want to take a look at are the technology related fields. LInux and Unix system administrators seem to be in great demand, wtih more than 200 jobs available immediately for those who qualify for them.

Even the companies who have laid off workers from their other points are hiring for some of these areas. With greater automation of systems and new software coming out daily the IT fields appear to be booming in New Jersey as manufacturing and other venues move toward more automated methods of business.
Customer services jobs available across New Jersey numbered in the thousands, with literally every company or field offering some type of customer service postion open for application. Due to the larger number of computerized fields, customer service positions are becoming necessary for more and more companies. These positions seem to be opening daily, with a mid-range salary of between 9 and 11 dollars per hour for the openings.
Jobs in New Jersey are projected to grow, and overall, particularly in comparison to other states in that area, the economy is not suffering as much as some others are. Hang in there folks, because as the saying goes, there is no where to go but up.
